Let's Sweet Talk, About HONEY!

Honey is nature's liquid gold! It dates back mote than 4000 years and has been used for medicinal purposes and as a beauty enhancer.

Honey has anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties and is also loaded with antioxidants. These properties assist with keeping your skin calm and hydrated imparting a healthy glow. It is also a natural humectant so it draws moisture from the air to your skin.

Below is a super moisturizing face mask recipe for those days when you want to give your skin a nourishing boost! We have added Extra Virgin Olive Oil because natural oils are emollients which contain high levels of fatty acids. Fatty acids moisturize and sooth the skin. Olive Oil also contains vitamin E, an antioxidant.

Honey and Olive Oil Face Mask

2 Parts Honey

1 Part Olive Oil (Extra Virgin)

*** Parts can be teaspoons, tablespoons, or what ever measurement you want to use. I recommend using more honey than olive oil so that the mask is thicker and doesn't slide off your face!

Mix the honey and olive oil well then gently massage onto your face. Leave on for 15 - 20 minutes then rinse off with cool water. Do this mask twice a week for subtle, glowing skin.

Enjoy!
